The wooden supporting construction consists of a system of posts resting on a horizontal beam – a sleeper anchored to the foundation. The space between the posts is filled with insulating material. Outside, an OSB is installed to stiffen the construction. Styrofoam is attached directly to the OSB in order to further warm the building.
The floors and the roof are wooden constructions as well. All the installations in wood-frame houses are placed inside walls and floors.
Prefabricated houses are distinguished by the speed and precision of their construction. A wooden house in this technology is ready within three months. Walls, floors and roof truss are made in a factory and transported to the construction site to be assembled on a previously prepared foundation.
